Testimonials - what people think of us

Rob worked with Amnis on our marketing strategy during the early stages of the company set up. Rob helped us clarify our objectives and was instrumental in helping us to develop our approach to marketing to the NHS.

Rob’s work with us also involved testing our marketing strategy and through his support we identified the main approaches to accessing clients that has subsequently led us to increase our turnover by 75% per year for the last three years. Rob’s professional support during our early days and subsequently over the three years since our formation has helped us to create a thriving business. We look forward to continuing to work with Rob long into the future.

MD Amnis

I have known Rob now for about six years. We first came across each other after he had finished his Bath MBA thesis on networking and it’s power in the business environment.

He has spoken in a number of our continuous professional development sessions and he is certainly of ‘senior interim change leader standard’ and, because of that and our positive experiences of him we invited him in as a member of topinterim. Out of 60 board level leaders we interview each month only two get in to topinterim. So we are extremely picky. There are just 150 members of topinterim. Our client list is formidable. Panasonic, Vodafone, Flogas, Henley Business School, The Tata Group, HMG. The Solicitors Regulation Authority to name but a few.

We have recommended him to other MD’s and he has been on considerable help in shaping their own client development work.

Rob has a ‘nose’ for what matters in business development. The best routes always start with developing ‘relationships of trust’. Instant results in sales are unusual, we all know that they are built, month by month, bit by bit. Finding good outsiders to help gives all sorts of wins. Flexible costs, dispassionate advice without the internal restraints of any employee, passion, professionalism, experience of other sectors. We recommend Rob Hook highly.

Bringing in Rob has resulted in our Board working as a cohesive unit and thus focussing on the real needs of the business. We are as a result a tighter unit with greater enthusiasm and truly focussed on success."

Rob is a very passionate and enthusiastic professional. He is also very supportive of our business ventures and offers great ideas for growth. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for business owners who need help in growing and eventually exiting their companies.
